Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Kozy Vacation Rentals. By booking a stay with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. Reservations and Payments:

    • A deposit of 60% of the total booking amount is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your check-in date.
    • Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or other methods as specified during the booking process.

  2. Check-In and Check-Out:

    • Check-in time is 3:00 pm on the arrival date. Check-out time is 11:00 am on the departure date.
    • Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

  3. Cancellation Policy:

    • If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before the check-in date, you will receive a full refund.
    • If you cancel your reservation between 7 and 29 days before the check-in date, you will receive a 50% refund of the nightly rate and cleaning fees.
    • If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before the check-in date, no refund will be issued.

  4. House Rules:

    • No smoking is allowed inside the rental property.
    • Pets are not allowed unless prior approval has been granted.
    • Please respect the neighbors and maintain a reasonable noise level, especially during nighttime hours.
    • Guests are responsible for any damage to the property and its contents during their stay. Costs for repairs or replacements will be charged to the guest.

  5. Occupancy Limits:

    • The maximum number of guests allowed in the rental property is specified in the booking confirmation. Exceeding this limit without prior approval may result in additional charges or termination of the rental agreement.

  6. Maintenance and Repairs:

    • If any issues or damages occur during your stay, please notify us immediately. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
    • Routine maintenance and repairs may be necessary during your stay. We will notify you in advance whenever possible.

  7. Liability:

    • Kozy Vacation Rentals is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
    • We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

  8. Force Majeure:

    • Kozy Vacation Rentals shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, natural disasters, or governmental restrictions.

  9. Privacy Policy:

    • We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

  10. Governing Law:

    • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of California. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County.
